Thank you so much for participating in my forum and giving me the opportunity to critique your lovely work. I like to start off my critiques with a few areas that could use refinement and then end on a few good notes. First, however, I'd like to provide my overall reaction to the piece. Overall I feel that you have A LOT of imagination and scope. In this piece it is obvious that you had a clear picture in your head what this scene would entail. Down to every detail, you have combined several images [including your own sketch] to create one massive, busy scene. Wonderful job, darling. Which leads me to...

- a few points that could use refinement:

<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="10" height="10" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="210" title="Bullet; Red"/> As I said before this is a very busy scene. There's so much going on that it makes the repetitiveness of your background stand out. Because of how much is going on elsewhere, it's obvious that your backdrop is simply the same image repeated over and over again. For future works I would try to avoid this. The piece could be even better if you had found a few different stock images for the background.

Something else that can make or break a visual piece, especially one that is a photo-manipulation, is lack of an obvious light source. There are several areas that I feel should have shadows cast... and yet there are several places that you DO have shadows. Once again, this is something to watch for and work on in future works.

And now for a few good points:

All of the different items blend so well it's as if they were always apart of the same image. Excluding the backdrop of bookcases, everything else blends and works perfectly. Well done.

<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="10" height="10" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="564" title="Bullet; Black"/> Those facial expressions are simply perfect. For the scene you describe in your Artist's Comments, your character's facial expressions read perfectly. Wonderful work, dear!
